Painful

Yesterday was the third day of the USPC and I got knocked out mid-day with QQ vs AK...pretty typical. I was really bummed, though, unlike the other tournaments I've been knocked out of since the WSOP. I guess I felt like since I was playing so well - remaining patient and making some really tough laydowns - that I deserved to get some hand over hand, gift, or other lucky situation. Maybe my luck will be reserved for High Stakes Poker, which will be my next poker venture. So far I haven't had much success since the main event, but I'm really getting excited for the upcoming month or so. I guess a plus is the fact that I can go home that much sooner and leave this dump. I can't decide whether I hate Atlantic City or hotels more.

Sorry it's been a while

Day 6 has not been forgotten about, but I will continue with that after I post a few other entries. Currently I'm playing in the U.S. Poker Championships in Atlantic City at the Taj Mahal. We played a short Day 1, and I ended the day with 33.5k, just over average I beleive. Day 2 was today, and I had a pretty rough day consisting of making numerous tough laydowns. I ended the day with 20k in chips, which is really low, but there is still plenty of room to maneuver back. Tomorrow the blinds will start at 500/1,000 and 100 ante, wish me luck!
